Jeff & Jer recorded a full episode with Lee Townsend on Wednesday. The first half dealt with the recent allegations that Phil Imbrogno forged his education credentials. Anything we had to say was purely speculative because Phil's public response has been to leave the paranormal field and go silent. That's publicly. But a funny thing happened on the way to Thursday... Phil personally emailed Jeremy his side of the story out of the blue and so the first half of the show had to be scrapped as irrelevant in light of new information--information he still cannot really share with the audience, but can talk around.And that's only the beginning of the problems they faced with this week's episode. In fact, the way they ended with Lee was bizarre and the way Jeff & Jer ended their after chat on Thursday was impossibly weird. Is there a ghost in the machine? Colin Andrews is best known for his research into the crop circle subject since 1983. He provides the only continuity between the past research era and the present, along with his friend and colleague, Busty Taylor. His long view of both the genuine phenomenon and the human-made phenomenon provides unique insight into the subject. His research results indicate the intelligence behind the phenomenon is interacting with both crop circle researchers and many of the people who make the hoaxes.

He has publicly stated since the late 1980s that the phenomenon indicates a future period of human chaos. The period indicated, supported by current trends, can be changed with human awareness and he believes there are serious eco-political implications and that the future direction of the planet is at the center of the phenomenon.

He and his longtime friend and research partner Pat Delgado authored Circular Evidence, considered by many to be the definitive work on the crop circle phenomenon. He is also the author of Government Circles which details and proves beyond question the Government and Royal Familys interest and communication with the original crop circles researchers with never before released documents - and sets the record straight. Colin and his wife Dr. Synthia Andrews, have also penned The Complete Idiots Guide to 2012 which details the 2012 issue across various cultures.

The man who coined the term crop circle, Colin Andrews, joins us tonight for an in-depth interview that seems to have a life of its own. Some of what that means happens during the show, and we take a time out to discuss it. Some of it continues to unfold privately as we post the episode.

When Jeff & Jeremy wished they could find a physicist outside of the paranormal field to talk to, they never dreamed it would come true.

Dr. Matloff is a Fellow of the British Interplanetary Society, a Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Astronautics, and an American Museum of Natural History Hayden Fellow. He served on a November 2007 panel organized by Seed magazine to brief Congressional staff on a sustainable, meaningful space program. He has published more than 100 papers and six popular books on astronomy and astronautics, and was a winner of a 1998 SETI competition sponsored by the National Institute of Discovery Science. One of his early books, The Starflight Handbook: A Pioneer's Guide to Interstellar Travel, co-authored with MIT science writer Eugene F. Mallove, and other publications helped establish space travel as a field of applied science. And that's just for starters!
