Banjo master Bela Fleck brings his newest collaboration to Mountain Stage with Larry Groce this week. Along with renowned bassist Edgar Meyer and Indian tabla master Zakir Hussain, the trio perform songs from their collaborative album ''The Melody of Rhythm'' to the audience's delight. Songwriting great Dar Williams performs some of her best known songs with the Mountain Stage band backing her up. Former Mavericks singer Raul Malo performs some new material and classic songs in his own style, accompanied by a south-west flavored accordion and the show opens with Boston gypsy folk stars David Wax Museum, who ask some of the other guests to sit in with them for their high-energy set. |
