You'll hear performances by soul-gospel legend Mavis Staples, who performs songs from her latest CD, the Jeff Tweedy produced ''You Are Not Alone.'' Songwriter Dougie MacLean performs some of Scotland's most memorable folk songs, and versatile vocalist Mollie O'Brien and her husband Rich Moore sing songs from their new disc ''Saints & Sinners.'' Boston-based string band Joy Kills Sorrow show why they are on the forefront of a movement of young singers and players. They're all in a special Mountain Stage from Glasgow, Scotland. |
